Forty Plus DC Organization Round Table

S. Orlene Grant, President and Founder of the Juanita C. Grant Foundation was a panelist for the December 12, 2019 Roundtable for the Forty Plus DC Organization. The topic for discussion was “CAREER TRANSITIONS: Daring To Explore New Possibilities”. The session was highly interactive with attendees. Topics included how to engage and connect with colleagues who has successful made bold transitions to other career paths and entrepreneurship. Networking techniques were discussed ranging from cold emails to investigative tracking of opportunities to speak with individuals that could open doors. Next step action plans were presented in addition to keys on being resilient during transition periods.
