MAKING THE CASE FOR ECONOMIC STABILITY….

The Juanita C. Grant Foundation (JCGF) conducts ongoing research to examine essential areas that present challenges and rewards for the 50+ community. Our findings show economic stability is the “hub” for maintaining three key areas for a quality life. The areas are (1) to age comfortably in one’s home, (2) socialize to prevent isolation and (3) effectively manage health conditions. With this in mind, JCGF’s education and training programs advocate embracing the Age-Friendly Community principles. JCGF is raising the awareness of communities to plan for all ages to work, play and age well together.

STRATEGIC PLAN

Establish Board member and Volunteer/Ambassador recruitment campaigns to expand capacity in critical areas. Launch direct services in 2020. Develop and implement comprehensive Funding Plan.

The Juanita C. Grant Foundation (JCGF) is dedicated to “helping individuals 50+ years find and keep employment resulting in healthier lifestyles, greater family involvement and financial stability to improve their overall quality of life in the 50+ community”.

COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on JCGF’s research efforts. While we continue to embrace virtual operations, we also have extended our partnerships to further research on our advocacy efforts.

IMPACT

The Juanita C. Grant Foundation (JCGF) is launching its 2020 Education and Training Programs on a positive note. Over the past 3 years, JCGF has touched over 2,500 individuals through our Elder Abuse Fraud Series, Roundtables on Aging and the 50+ Workforce Initiative.
