Juanita C. Grant Foundation Attends Critical Leadership Summit

Capitol Heights, MD, April 25, 2022: Last month, Donna Satterthwaite, Juanita C. Grant Foundation (JCGF) Board member and Chair of the Program and Communication Committee, attended the LeadingAge Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, which took place from March 28th until March 30th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Ms. Satterthwaite also represented the Reframing Aging Initiative, featuring on a panel to launch LeadingAge's Opening Doors to Aging Services, a new initiative created to introduce older adults and their families to the vital care and services that we all need in order to grow older well.

The aim of the LeadingAge Leadership Summit was to convene thought leaders across the aging services sector, in an attempt to unite providers, businesses and policy experts under the single vision of a better future for aging. Attendees of the event had the opportunity to gain insight into the aging services industry, explore ideas for progress, collaborate with their peers to find working solutions, and influence the nation’s decision makers by providing unique insight.
