Silvia D'Jaen Silverman, AICP, CPPB



International President, Altrusa International, Inc. & Director of Planning and Environment at CV, Inc.

Ms. Silverman became Immediate Past International President at the Convention celebrating Altrusa’s Centennial year in Nashville, TN, in July 2017. She served as International President during the 2015-2017 biennium. Her service at the International level includes President Elect from 2013-2015, Vice President from 2011-2013 and International Director from 2009-2011. Ms. Silverman served as Governor of District Two in 2006-2008, Governor-Elect, and First and Second Vice Governor. In her club of Montgomery County, Maryland, she has served as Director, Vice President, and President. As Immediate Past President, Silvia chaired the Personnel Committee, and sat on the Finance Committee. Silvia currently serves as Vice-Chair of the International Membership Development Committee.



Ms. Silverman received a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. She is the Director of Planning and Environment at CV, Inc. a civil engineering company.
