Our newest board member, Reverend Phyllicia M. Hatton, M. Div

The Juanita C. Grant Foundation is pleased to announce our newest board member, Reverend Phyllicia M. Hatton, M. Div. Following several years serving in a variety of positions for businesses in the Washington, D.C. region, in the spring of 1999, Ms. Hatton emerged to found Phenomenal Productions LLC, a meeting, conference and event management company. , She has worked in local and Federal government agencies, small minority owned businesses, retail and more. These work experiences have offered Ms. Hatton a unique perspective that has awarded her a position working in the Human Development Bureau at The Greater Washington Board of Trade, a regional chamber of commerce representing businesses throughout the D.C. area. Soon after one year, Ms/ Hatton was appointed to work with the region’s most respected leaders to establish Leadership Greater Washington, Inc. 

A native Washingtonian and alumnae of Howard University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980 and receiving a Master of Divinity in May 2004. She is an honorary/lifetime member of Leadership Greater Washington, Inc. and her company, is verified as an EDWOB with the Small Business Administration. She is the Founder and President of Hannah’s Grace, Inc., a faith-based ministry and a member with the Christian Meetings and Conventions Association and is a member of the Religious Conference Management Association. She also serves as a committee member for the Food Equity Council, Prince George’s County Community Advisory Group/Cancer Prevention Coalition and the University of Maryland Extension for Market Managers.
