S. Orlene Grant Is Elected To The National Insurance Alliance’s NANI, and AMS Board Of Directors

Capitol Heights, MD, April 4, 2024: The Juanita C. Grant Foundation, Inc. announced today that its President and CEO, S. The Juanita C. Grant Foundation, Inc. announced today that its President and CEO, S. Orlene Grant, has been elected to the Alliance of Member Services (AMS) and National Alliance of Nonprofits for Insurance (NANI), both of which are part of the Nonprofits Insurance Alliance (NIA). Ms. Grant also serves on the Alliance for Nonprofits Insurance (ANI) board and chairs the ANI Risk Committee. 

The Alliance was created to solve liability insurance procurement problems specific to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations outside California. The founders of the Alliance created it with the goal of providing specialized insurance policies to the nonprofit sector, similar to its predecessor, the NIAC. Additionally, they aimed to assist organizations in developing and implementing effective loss control and risk management programs.

"I am honored that the board of directors for Alliance for Nonprofits Insurance elected me to serve," said Ms. Grant. Grant. “It will be a pleasure to share insights I have gained over the years as a nonprofit leader with the ANI board. I hope to strengthen the positive impact supportive insurance practices can have on the day-to-day operations of nonprofit organizations.”

ANI believes it can serve nonprofit organizations better by incorporating this fresh insight, enabling them to focus on what is most important - their communities. This entails providing fair and equitably priced liability and property insurance tailored to the unique needs of nonprofits and assisting them in implementing successful risk management strategies. ANI seeks to bridge the gap between nonprofits and their communities by providing them with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to succeed.
