50+ Artist Networking Event

The Juanita C. Grant Foundation (JCGF) in collaboration with the Taurus Development Group hosted a 50+ Artist Networking Event at our H St. Greenhouse office in Northeast Washington DC on May 30, 2019. JCGF is partnering with the Taurus Development Group as we expand into the Washington Metropolitan area addressing critical issues for the 50+ such as combating ageism, economic stability, and facilitating aging friendly communities. The Networking Event celebrated the 50+ Artist as a successful entrepreneur. A topic that often emerges from our focus groups with 50+ individuals is exploring converting a passion for art to a successful career. JCGF advocates raising awareness of the 50+ individual reframing and retooling the next 20+ years to fulfill dreams and advance skill sets that have been untapped.
