Junaita C. Grant Foundation Launches New Workforce Development Program

Washington, DC, October 6, 2022: The Juanita C. Grant Foundation Inc. announced today, the 50+ Refresh Back to Work Bootcamp which will begin on October 24, 2022. The goal of the Bootcamp is to educate job-seeking older adults, providing them with skills such as how to conduct online job searches, update their computer skills, create social media profiles, and how to incorporate customer service skills into all interactions.

The 50+ Refresh Back to Work Bootcamp will provide an introduction to six career tracks in high demand for hire - social service, recreation, business, retail, healthcare, and tourism and hospitality. The Juanita C. Grant Foundation started interviewing prospective Bootcamp attendees and trainers October 5^th. In order to confirm eligibility, selected candidates will also be interviewed by Employ Prince George's Encore Program.
