Shannon Holland, BA, TBM, SSM

Shannon Holland is an IT management professional with over twenty years of experience, including over 10 years leading a broad range of business process improvement activities, to include enterprise architecture, budget and financial modeling, forecasting, and IT planning initiatives to Federal government clients.  Primarily she has been focused on consulting projects that streamline federal IT operations by reconsidering IT from a business perspective. Ms. Holland started out her career working for a small information technology company and sold from their GSA catalog directly to the US Marine Corps and the US Navy. She then worked for Sun Microsystems selling IT services directly and then later working within their Channel Sales organization. Ms. Holland then moved on to Symantec selling Norton Antivirus software and developing an IT Sales curriculum. Since then, she has been working as a Senior Management Consultant working with clients to apply IT Project Management best practices relating to a discipline referred to as capital planning investment control. She has provided senior management consultant support to executive leadership within OCIO organizations at various Federal agencies including the Department of Labor, Department of Just, and the Department for International Development.
