Self Love, Yes…Celebrate Health Nutrition Month

I just got my clocks synchronized for daylight savings time. Spring is here and it is a great way to celebrate with touch self-love. I know this year and the past two years has been one of disruptive living. One value that has leaped out to me is taking care of myself to manage the stress and unpredictability of what the next 12 hours may bring. Part of self-love is recalibrating….everything from moving to 8 hours of sleep as I continue to age, ensuring 5 instead of 4 days of exercise and scrutinizing the fuel that goes into my body.
I see it all the time on social media and the news to eat well to reap the benefits of a healthy balance diet. But also, my needs, wants and health condition are different from anyone else. We all have to find our path. This I know, its feels good to reward a 4 mile walk with a healthy salad. It’s ad adventure to scour the outdoor food markets for “farm to table” produce. It feels good to try out a new recipe, and break from some traditional less nutritious food patterns.
