JCGF Accepted Into Catalogue For Philanthropy 20th Class Of Partners

Jun 23, 2022

New partnership promises increased visibility, growth, and support for the foundation.

Capitol Heights, MD, June 27, 2022: The Juanita C. Grant Foundation (JCGF), local and national champion for the wellbeing of older adults, has recently announced its acceptance to the print edition of the 2022-23 print edition of the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington as the latest local nonprofit partner. Earlier this month, The Catalogue announced its 2022-23 Catalogue Class, the 20th class of nonprofit partners chosen for their status as critical local nonprofits in the region, due to the dedication demonstrated through each organization’s efforts in their community.

The Catalogue is the only locally-focused guide to giving and volunteering and is dedicated to strengthening nonprofits in the Greater Washington area by offering training and educational opportunities throughout the year. The Catalogue’s mission is to help these local nonprofit organizations become more effective at connecting with donors, sharing stories, and communicating with the public at large, in order for them to make the most of their Catalogue partnership, and increase their ability to make our communities stronger.

Thanks to the partnership with The Catalogue, JCGF will be able to further increase the scope of services that it is able to provide to the older adult community. “I am thrilled the Juanita C. Grant Foundation was accepted as a partner into the 2022-2023 Catalogue of Philanthropy.”, said S. Orlene Grant, JCGF President and CEO. “COVID-19 spurred a growth mode for JCGF through online programing and expansion of our advocacy efforts through National Town Halls and webinars. We look forward to enhancing JCGF in person core programs of Elder Abuse and Fraud Prevention Training, Workforce Training and the online Village Connector Experience program that breaks the cycle of social isolation and loneliness for older adults.”
